Cruise to Kusadusi, Turkey & Patmos

Overview:

Woke up early to spend the morning is Kusadasi/Turkey. This place was a huge highlight! the area filled with ruins was simply amazing! Ill let the photos do the explaining but also you should definately check it out for yourself. Go to Turkey right now!!

Fter a couple of hours and a bit of market shopping we jumped back on the boat, danika had a nap so I had lunch of the top deck with a few of the crew. then it was time to hop off at Patmos. This place was not very exciting. Had one main street and it was the only day that rained so an hour there was enough for us and we hopped back onto the boat. Had dinner, got hooked on Blackjack for a couple of hours and had another dance. funfunfun!!!

Day 5 - Mykonos & boarding the Cruise

Overview:

It was our last day in Mykonos, so we lazed around the pool, had a quick meeting and checked out. Grabbed some lunch at the taverna down the road then jumped on the bus to Mykonos town for drugs for danks cold and so she could get some photos with her big camera. Wandered around, grabbed an icecream, caught the bus back and chilled until it was time to leave to board the cruise ship.

Boarded the AquaMarine at 6pm and had buffet dinner, checkout out our rooms, then met up at the moonlight disco and had a dance.

Mykonos - Paradise Beach

Overview:

Danika had a bit of cold so slept most of the morning whilst i climbed Aphrodite's right boob. After lunch we all jumped on a bus to paradise beach for 5 hours. Much drinking, card games, dancing and passing out to happen!

Mykonos town by day & night

Overview:

Decided to catch the bus into Mykonos town and explore. Took alot of photos, had a delicious lunch of moussaka, greek salad, white beans and fried zucchini before racing back to catch the bus back to the resort. Chilled by the pool then played a round of kings (or 5) and got quite tipsy for our night on the town. All gathered into the bus and did a quick walking tour around before heading to a very filling dinner. After our fill we hit up abit of a pub crawl to 3 bars, Katerina's bar, down under bar and the scandinavian bar. Home at 2am

Mykonos Island - Greece

5am wake up call, caught the ferry to mykonos for 5 hours then arrived at our resort! chilled by the pool, got abit tipsy and chatted to everyone, then had dinner and partied it up at the toga party till midnight!! MYKONOS!!!

Hello from Italy!

Well danika and I are in Napoli, Italy at the moment. It has been a very full on 14 days of travel, tours, meeting new people, eating new foods, sites, weddings, hotels...... and im only halfway through!

Every place we have been to, though only for a short time, have blown us away with the different lifestyle and colture, beautiful sights and kindness. I have been keeping a journal but it will not let me copy and past each entry *sigh* so here is what we have been up to in photos:

Day One:

Our first night was in Athens. After hearing about all the problems and riots i was abit scared to be there. One night before the tour and one night after, i told myself, and that is all!
How wrong were we!!

Athens was BEAUTIFUL! We stayed in the Plaka districts and you would know that there was a current crisis. The people were lovely and helpful, the stalls were endless, the food was delicious, the weather was perfect and the view... wow!

I am so thankful i had such low expectations because I was just blown away and I know Danika was as well.

Everyone has a different opinion about Athens, i have heard many negative, but I will be back!

Today we met our Contiki tour group of about 19, and our tour manager Paola who was a darling! 4 Aussies, bout 8 or so from america, 3 from brazil and a few couple from canada made up our group and we went out to dinner t a beautiful resturant with greek music and dance and food.
